About Me

I grew up in Slovenia, a small country in Europe. Over time my path slowly took me further out into the world. I spent part of my studies in Vancouver, Canada, which was a big experience for me and really widened my perspective. Later I moved to the UK, where I trained as a psychotherapist. For a few years I lived as a digital nomad, working online while moving between different places. It was a time of a lot of learning, meeting different people and ways of living. These days my life is mostly between the UK and Spain, where I continue my work as a therapist.

In my work, I approach psychotherapy not only through professional training but also through my own life experience. Many of the things I support people with are things I have had to face and work through myself. Because of that, I try to meet people with honesty, openness, and a deep respect for each person’s unique path.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe that healing is not only about changing our thoughts, because we are more than just our thinking minds. We are emotional, relational, and embodied beings. For this reason, my work integrates cognitive, emotional, relational, and somatic approaches, supporting transformation on multiple levels, from symptom relief to deeper shifts in how you relate to yourself and others.

Therapy with me is collaborative. I don’t tell you what to do; instead, we explore together what is happening for you, how past experiences may still be influencing the present, and what supports genuine change. Where appropriate, I integrate evidence-based methods such as EMDR to support the processing of traumatic experiences.

International Experience

I work with clients from different countries and cultural backgrounds, and many of the people I support live internationally or have experienced significant life transitions. Having lived in multiple countries myself, I understand the challenges that can arise around identity, belonging, and stability — especially when familiar support systems are no longer close.

This perspective informs my work, but it does not define or limit it. Whether your struggles relate to relationships, trauma, life transitions, or inner conflicts, therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself — wherever you are in the world.

Areas I Often Work With

I have a particular interest and experience in:

  • Childhood trauma and emotional neglect
  • Relationship difficulties and attachment wounds
  • Experiences of growing up with emotionally immature or unavailable parents
  • Shame, guilt, and patterns of self-blame
  • Boundaries, people-pleasing, and self-worth
  • Identity, meaning, and life transitions
